În ultima vizită a duo-ului The Gemini Bros.

London's ISM Records label launched the newest EP of the Bucharest-based producers, Jocko.
hortly after their 12" "No More Hits Vol. 24" single came out Razvan & Ionut Chiron return with a new digital EP containing fresh Romanian vibe of summer with three remixes by DJ Rocca and Faze Action.
Drawing heavily on inspiration from the hedonistic, downtown creative vibe of 70's & 80's New York and integrated within the modern London dance scene, ISM Records was founded in 2009 in East London by Yam Who?.
The story behind “Jocko” track starts here, where The Gemini Bros lines up with a string of heavy names on dance scene who have chosen to be labeled by ISM, a common factor which stands between Romanian duo, Crazy P’s Ron Basejam and legendary NYC disco band Odyssey, Danielle Baldelli, Chaz Jankel, Ajello, The Revenge and The Dead Rose Music Company. .
On their last flight to UK The Gemini Bros. went to some music stores, as well as several iconic clubs, such as Ministry of Sound - where londoners not only heard them performing an amazing set playing some of the best vinyls which they had in the bag, but they had allowed into their soul a persistently unconditionally groove.
During their trip to the city of contrasts, Bucharest based producers me with Andy Williams and Des Morgan aka Yam Who? - British’s house music briliant stars who wanted to remain anonymous and away from publicity magazines.
When they got back into the studio, where the mood is supportive and no music is off limits, twins began recording their output which was to be entitled “Jocko”, and due to collaboration with one of the most enigmatic musician of the Italian Maffia Soundsystem crew, DJ Rocca, and electronic disco stalwarts Simon and Robin Lee aka Faze Action, The Gemini Bros's new production has benefited from masterful handlings of form.
All three remixes are distinctly heavyweight. The Gemini Bros. are two Djs who love to keep their audience on their toes by dropping some rocking sounds, so they were probably salivating over Faze Action’s reinterpretation. In other words, “Faze Action Remix” is a proto-house, while the Italian remixer comes with the addition of heavily-treated percursion that leads to much more clarity between instruments and female vocal loops, creating a dub version also.
